Troy Ave has been released from prison on bail.

The rapper, whose real name is Roland Collins, was being held in custody in Rikers Island after being indicted on one attempted murder and two weapons charges.

Collins was involved in a fatal shooting at a T.I. concert at New York’s Irving Plaza on May 25. His bodyguard and friend Ronald McPhatter was killed in the incident.

Collins denies that he is responsible for the shot that killed McPhatter. Collins himself was shot in the leg.

Prosecutors agreed to release the rapper from prison on Monday (July 11) on the provision of a $500,000 bail, the New York Daily News reports.

Collins will be required to wear an ankle bracelet and stay in New York. He must also stay away from all concert venues, bars, arenas and performance spaces. The terms of his bail also bar him from visiting his two young children in New Jersey, his lawyer said.
