The Charlatans forced to pull US tour dates

Drummer Jon Brookes is taken ill onstage

The Charlatans have been forced to call off their current tour of the US following a medical emergency.

The northern indie veterans were in the middle of a show at Philadephia‘s Jonny Brenda‘s venue on Wednesday (September 15) when drummer Jon Brookes collapsed onstage.

Brookes is said to be in a comfortable condition, but was flown back to the UK for further treatment. As a result, the dates have been postponed.
