NME Breakthrough band search shortlist announced

Five acts named for competition shortlist

The shortlist for NME Breakthrough Supported By BlackBerry‘s competition to find the best unsigned band in the UK has been announced.

The ABC Club, Clock Opera, Glass Diamond, Fiction and Rounds have made the shortlist after the judging panel (which included producer James Ford and The Big Pink‘s Milo Cordell) scouted the new online community.

The eventual winner will get a page feature in the Radar section of NME, a gig at Club NME KOKO in London and an invite to NME to get an EPK made for them.

Fans will have a chance to vote for the winner. See NME.COM/breakthrough to listen to the acts, vote for your favourite and to sign up.
