The first band to sign up 500 fans to the new NME Breakthrough supported by Blackberry service before May 24 will win £1,000.
NME Breakthrough supported by Blackberry is the new community where artists and fans unite. If you’re a music maker, it’s easy to create a profile, add music, videos and photos and then invite people to become your fans.
The new service allows bands and users to upload their music and videos onto profiles on NME.COM for other users to listen to.
Acts who upload their music will have the chance to feature in NME magazine’s Radar section and on the NME.COM Radar Blog, with Radar editor Jaimie Hodgson scouting the network for the best new musical talent.
There will also be opportunities for acts on NME Breakthrough supported by Blackberry to play live at NME events, and also to bag a live slot at this year’s Lovebox festival in London, which takes place on July 16-18.
Head to NME.COM/breakthrough to sign up.
