Franz Ferdinand have set a blazing trail through the NME CHART this week (October 3), with ’THIS FIRE’ scorching its way straight to the Number One spot.

Kings Of Leon kick ‘The Bucket’ up to Number Two and Kasabian, from their position at Number Ten last week, rise to Three.

New entries come from Bloc Party with their ‘Helicopter’, The Others and ‘Stan Bowles’ and Hives’ ‘Two Timing Touch And Broken Bones’.
