GOLDIE LOOKIN’ CHAIN charge to the top of the NME CHART this week (August 1), knocking Libertines to Two.

The Killers and Soulwax both climb the countdown, while Hives slip out of the Top Five.

New entries into the chart come from Franz Ferdinand with ‘Michael’, and Polyphonic Spree’s ‘Hold Me Now’.
