It's the first ever Darkness-free week in the Top Ten...

RADIOHEAD‘s ‘2+2=5’ has hit the Number One spot in the first ever Cooper Temple Clause-free week in the NME Top Ten, beating off competition from THE STROKES, White Stripes and RAZORLIGHT.

The unofficial MTV footage of ‘2+2=5′ has proved to be a huge hit with chart viewers but will it still hold the top spot next week against strong new contenders Cooper Temple Clause and next week’s release of Distillers’ ‘The Hardest Button To Button’.
