The Strokes are toppled...

WOLFMAN AND PETER DOHERTY have stolen the Number One spot from THE STROKES in the latest episode of the fiercest NME CHART battle ever.

It’s 1066, The Battle Of Hastings. The English and The Normans are locked in bloody battle. Despite the firing of arrows, pouring of boiling oil and massive casualties on all sides, it’s a combat that pales in comparison to the conflict right here in the NME Chart.

This week, Snow Patrol jump back up to Three while The Zutons continue a steady assault at Four.

Just the one new entry this week, and like an arrow in the eye, [a][/a] shoot in at Number Eight.

But what will happen next week? Only you know, because you choose. So get voting!
