DJ Jon Hillcock joins NME Radio line-up

Klaxons, Arcade Fire champion set for morning show from Monday (Oct 5)

NME Radio has announced the addition of a new DJ to the station’s line-up – Jon Hillcock.

Hillcock, who previously worked at XFM, will join the station from October 5. He will be on air from 10am (BST) to midday and will also present his show, New Noise, on Saturday evenings between 7pm and 9pm.

He was the first DJ to play bands including Arcade Fire and Klaxons on UK radio.

Jon‘s knowledge and passion for new music matches the spirit of NME Radio perfectly,” station boss Sammy Jacob explained. “We’re all delighted to have Jon on board and I’m sure our listeners will be too. He’s also a really nice guy which makes working with him an even greater pleasure.”

Hillcock said, “I absolutely cannot wait to provide a genuine musical alternative each morning on NME Radio. Not only that, but I get to continue with my weekend New Noise show and be part of an enormously passionate and dedicated team.”
