Skins Radio takes over plus The Virgins, Goldie Lookin' Chain and more

This week (January 12-16) sees the start of the Skins Radio takeover on NME Radio.

Along with the regular set of DJs and music, we have a series of special shows and sessions to mark the return to the Channel 4 series. Here is what you can expect:

Monday

The nightly Skins Radio kicks off today (January 12), with DJs James Theaker and Daniel Kaluuya taking the reins from 7pm (GMT). ‘Skins’ cast member Kaya Scodelario (who plays Effy in the third series) is the special guest plus Duologue are playing a live session.

Tuesday

Today sees Lily Loveless (Naomi in ‘Skins’) drop by for a chat from 7pm while Little Death make their live radio debut with an interview and session.

Wednesday

There’s a double whammy of live sessions on air today, with The Virgins playing live from 12.30pm on Neil Cole‘s show (with a pair of tickets for their London gig on Thursday up for grabs) while You Love Her Coz She’s Dead hit the studio as Skins Radio kicks off from 7pm. Goldie Lookin Chain‘s Eggsy and Rhys are studio guests for The Forum with Iain Baker from 4pm.

Thursday

Scottish rap newcomers Young Fathers record a Skins Radio session from 7pm tonight.

Friday

Friday sees Skins Radio‘s evening show hosting a live set from Unicorn Kid plus Megan Prescott, one of the twins from ‘Skins 3’, will pop in with all the latest on-set gossip.
