This week on NME Radio: 7-11 September 2009

Station talks to Muse plus win tickets to a very special gig this week

Tune in to NME Radio this week for the regular DJs and music, plus all this action.

There’s some DJ swapping this week, as Gill Mills covers Samanthi‘s show from 10am on Thursday and Friday and Firas takes the place of Iain Baker every day from 3pm.

To celebrate the release of new off-road racing game ‘Colin McRae Dirt 2’ on Xbox and PS3, NME Radio and NME are throwing a party this Thursday at the Arches in London Bridge. The Rakes, Dinosaur Pile-Up and Glamour Of The Kill are all performing and you can be there. Just listen in to Sarah Kerr, Samanthi, Firas and Chris Martin all week for tickets as well as chance to snag a copy of the game. One lucky person will win an Xbox console as well.

Also this week, tune in to Samanthi from 10am and Chris Martin from 7 to win tickets to the next Doc Marten’s Live gig with VV Brown on Friday 11th September.

At 7pm tonight Chris Martin is talking to Muse about their hometown gigs, visa troubles in the US and the problems experienced when producing your own album.

The NME Forum takes place from 4pm, with music from Band Of Skulls and Florence And The Machine up for discussion by NME‘s Hamish MacBain and Paul Sethi from Clash magazine.

To celebrate the first release of the entire remastered Beatles back catalogue, NME is coming out in thirteen different issues this week, with an album cover on each. Sarah Kerr has the whole lot to win from 8am today.

Ahead of NME Radio‘s ‘Colin McRae Dirt 2’ launch party tonight at the Arches in London, we’re playing some of the best tracks from the soundtrack from 2pm, including tunes from Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Dinosaur Pile-up and Queens Of The Stone Age.

To tune in, head to Sky Channel 0184, Virgin Media 975, Freesat 727, DAB in London or NME.COM/Radio.
