Noah And The Whale have announced that they’re reissuing their first two albums on vinyl later this year.
The folk stars, who announced their split in 2015, will release 2008’s ‘Peaceful, the World Lays Me Down’ and 2009’s ‘The First Days of Spring’ in its vinyl form on May 18th.
Describing the release, lead singer Charlie Fink said: “As a result of the formidable efforts of Dan Waggon at the Noah And The Whale vinyl campaign, our first two records are to be released on vinyl for the first time ever.

“I would like to salute Dan for his four years making this happen. A small but wonderful reminder that change does indeed start with individuals.”
Fink added: “I hope Dan’s success spurs him on to keep fighting for the things that matter. I think we can all agree there is a long and rapidly growing list of vital issues in the world that need superheroes like Dan.
NME’s 2009 review of the First Days of Spring described it as “proof that the quirky band with that perky tune haven’t disappeared, but they have done a hell of a lot of growing up. An immense album.”
