Former Oasis man disclosed the information to a crowd in Japan
Noel Gallagher has claimed to not wear any underwear when he’s performing.
The former Oasis man disclosed the information during a post on his blog, in which he described the scene of a recent show in Japan.
Some guy at one of the shows had a placard held what said: “WHAT COLOUR UNDERPANTS ARE YOU WEARING?”,” Gallagher wrote, adding: “I’d like to say the crowd were stunned into silence when I told them I don’t wear underwear onstage, but as it was quieter than a comedy club that Madonna’s doing stand up at (did you see that thing? Holy shit balls!!) I’m not sure anyone noticed, least of all me!”
Elsewhere in the blog, Gallagher said that he has no interest in the upcoming general election in Britain, urging the party leaders to say something “radical” to get his attention. “Someone asked me about our “upcoming erection?”… ‘Scuse me? Who gives a fuck about that anyway?” he wrote. “79 per cent of the fiscal this…2.4 per cent growth of the annual that, spend, cut, borrow, lend, build…blah, blah FUCKING BLAH. Say something radical you utterly contemptible bastards.”
Oasis were recently rumoured to have reached a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ to reform the Britpop outfit. Liam Gallagher has decided to offer no comment on the matter.
Oasis acrimoniously split in 2009 with Noel citing an inability to work with his brother as the key reason. There has, however, seemingly been a thawing in the pair’s relationship lately. Earlier this year saw Liam taking to Twitter to post a photo of himself holding a backstage pass to one of Noel’s gigs, who in turn has publically encouraged his younger sibling to record a solo album.
