The show will take place at a mystery location on March 27
Noel Gallagher has announced plans for a ‘secret’ London gig.
The show will take place on March 27 at a mystery location in south east London, the day before he plays at London’s Royal Albert Hall for the Teenage Cancer Trust. The gig was announced via Gallagher’s Twitter account, with a message reading:
The show will follow Noel Gallagher‘s recent UK arena tour, which earlier this week saw him joined onstage at Manchester Arena by Johnny Marr. The pair performed ‘Ballad Of The Mighty I’ together during the encore. The single features on Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’ second album, the recently released ‘Chasing Yesterday’. Marr plays guitar on the album version, but this is the first time the pair have performed the track together in public. Gallagher has called it one of his best songs, thanks to Marr’s contribution.
Gallagher’s tour has seem him play a number of Oasis songs, including ‘Fade Away’, ‘Champagne Supernova’, ‘Digsy’s Dinner’, ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ and ‘The Masterplan’.
