Johnny Marr joins Noel Gallagher on stage in Manchester – watch

The music legends performed 'Ballad Of The Mighty I' together at Manchester Arena

Johnny Marr joined Noel Gallagher onstage at Manchester Arena last night (March 9).

The pair performed ‘Ballad Of The Mighty I’ together during the encore, a single which features on Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’ second album, the recently released ‘Chasing Yesterday’. Marr plays guitar on the album version, but this is the first time the pair have performed the track together in public. Gallagher has called it one of his best songs, thanks to Marr’s contribution.
