Channel 4 special was played in full last night
The celebrity Gogglebox special featuring Noel Gallagher received 1.5m viewers on Channel 4 last night (October 21).
A full-length version of the episode was screened on Channel 4 at 10pm last night, bringing in 1.52m viewers and a further 228,000 on +1 reports Digital Spy. This represented a 10 per cent audience share on a quiet night for all five of the terrestrial stations.
Gallagher, who announced details of his new album earlier this month, appeared alongside Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss on the show, which sees members of the public sitting in their living rooms and commenting on TV shows as they watch them.
All thee celebrities took part to raise money for Stand Up to Cancer. The Channel 4 telethon raised £14,515,243 on Friday night (October 17), cpmfortably beating its previous total of £8m in 2012.
During the course of the show, Gallagher commented on TV shows including Strictly Come Dancing, The X Factor and Downton Abbey.
