Ex-Oasis chief to team up with LA band at Dublin's Croke Park in 2012

Noel Gallagher has been confirmed to support Red Hot Chili Peppers on their forthcoming Croke Park show in Dublin.

The ex-Oasis chief will join the band on June 26, 2012 for the third date of their massive UK and Ireland shows, which also include dates at Knebworth Park near Stevenage on June 23 and Sunderland’s Stadium Of Light on June 24.

No word has yet been given whether Gallagher will support the LA band for their UK dates.

Knebworth Park has hosted legendary gigs from Oasis and Led Zeppelin in the past and has a potential capacity of over 200,000. It is also the location for Sonisphere Festival.
