Ex-Oasis chief lines up seven shows for biggest headline jaunt so far

Noel Gallagher has announced plans for a UK arena tour in 2012.

The ex-Oasis chief has lined up seven dates kicking off at Manchester‘s MEN on February 13. The jaunt, which will be Gallagher’s biggest headline shows to date, will also take in a date at London’s O2 Arena on the 26 before wrapping up at Birmingham NIA on March 1.

The ex-Oasis guitarist is set to embark on his first UK and Ireland tour, which sold out in minutes of going on sale, today (October 23) starting at Dublin Olympia Theatre. It will wrap up with three shows in London with the final gig at the capital’s Roundhouse venue next Monday (October 31).

He also appeared on ITV1’s The Jonathan Ross Show last night (October 22) and performed single ‘AKA…What A Life’, footage of which you can watch below.

Gallagher meanwhile is on course to top the UK album chart with his debut solo album ‘Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds’.
