Noel Gallagher announces surprise, intimate Manchester gig

Noel is heading home

Noel Gallagher has announced details of an intimate and last minute show at the O2 Ritz in Manchester. Full dates and ticket details are below.

As the former Oasis turned High Flying Birds star completes a victory lap of touring his acclaimed 2017 album ‘Who Built The Moon?‘, Gallagher will now stop by Manchester for a small homecoming show at The Ritz on Wednesday July 18. Tickets to this gig are on sale from 10am on July 4 and will be available by signing up here.

Gallagher’s full upcoming UK tour dates are below. For all other Noel Gallagher tour tickets, visit here.

Friday July 6 – SCARBOROUGH Scarborough Open Air Theatre
Saturday July 7 – LONDON Old Royal Naval College
Wednesday July 18 – MANCHESTER O2 Ritz
Thursday July 19 – EDINBURGH Edinburgh Castle Esplanade
Saturday September 1 – BRISTOL Clifton Downs

“When I first started, I used to do 20 songs and 12 of them were Oasis songs, and that’s pure necessity,” said Noel about his solo sets earlier this year. “Now it’s down to five.”

“The only conscious thing that I would do, because those songs are part of people’s lives particularly in England, I wouldn’t have Charlotte [Marionneau] play the scissors on an Oasis song…I’m aware of what those songs mean to people.”

Meanwhile, this weekend saw Liam Gallagher perform the Noel-fronted Oasis B-side ‘D’Yer Wanna Be A Spaceman’ live for the first time since 1996 at Finsbury Park.
