Watch Noel Gallagher play ‘Holy Mountain’ with a brass section on US TV

Oasis man took to 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' this week

Noel Gallagher appeared on US TV last night (March 8), performing his divisive recent single ‘Holy Mountain’ whilst backed by a brass section.

The former Oasis guitarist and his High Flying Birds band were the musical guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live, offering a rendition of his standout track from last year’s Who Built The Moon?.

Gallagher also repped Manchester City during the performance, with a flag bearing the club’s badge in the background.

Noel Gallagher is currently on a tour of North America, which has seen him anger Hull residents by calling the Yorkshire city a “shithole” during one US show.

Noel’s brother Liam later told a fan on Twitter that he “loves” Hull, and has since been asked to open in new venue in the city.

Hull Venue, a “state-of-the-art, music and events complex with a capacity of up to 3,500 people”, asked Liam if he fancies “showing Noel just how great a Hull audience is” by performing at their venue this summer.

Liam responded to the offer, indicating on Twitter that he was keen on opening the venue in question.

“Send me the dates and if I’m around I’d love to I love HULL as you were,” Liam wrote.
