Noel Gallagher brings his NME Godlike Genius award onstage during Coachella show

Former Oasis man also walked onstage to the sounds of The Stone Roses

Noel Gallagher brought his NME Godlike Genius award onstage with him during his set at Coachella this weekend.

The High Flying Birds man, who played his second set at California festival on Saturday (April 21), performed his set with the award perched on top of his guitar amplifier, reports Yahoo.

Gallagher, who picked up the award at the NME Awards in February of this year, walked onstage to The Stone Roses‘ ‘Fools Gold’ before playing a hour-long set that included a number of Oasis songs, including ‘Talk Tonight’ and ‘Don’t Back In Anger’. The guitarist recently extended his run of UK arena shows for this September. He will play five shows across the UK, with a newly added date at London’s Wembley Arena set to take place on September 7.
