Norah Jones, Rod Stewart and ZZ Top to perform
Norah Jones, Rod Stewart and ZZ Top are among the artists confirmed to appear at this year’s New Orleans Jazz And Heritage Festival.
Calexico, Ludacris, Joss Stone, Counting Crows and John Legend will also perform at the event, which takes place over two weekends in April (27-29) and May (4-6) at the New Orleans Fair Grounds.
The festivities will culminate in a performance by New Orleans native Harry Connick Jr, whose ‘Oh My Nola’ album is released this week.
Proceeds from the festival go to the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation, which supports community development activities.
Last year’s festival saw performances by Bob Dylan, Paul Simon and Elvis Costello.
