Eazy-E's sons E3 and Lil Eazy-E team up with Dre's son Curtis Young to form new trio
Dr Dre and Eazy-E’s children have united to form rap group Sons of NWA and are reportedly looking to play live in the UK this summer.
NWA split in but 1991, however Eazy-E’s sons E3 and Lil Eazy-E are teaming up with Dre’s son Curtis Young to form the group. Original NWA member DJ Yella is also involved. No children of NWA’s Ice Cube or MC Ren are believed to be involved with Sons of NWA.
A Facebook page states that the trio are looking to tour across Europe in July and August. An email from the group obtained by Noisey states that they are interesting playing “Club shows, festivals etc. It’s not cheap naturally but you wouldn’t expect it be, right?”
Speaking to OC Weekly, Lil Eazy-E denied that the group were cashing in on their fathers’ legacy. “The talent is in our blood and it is our birthright,” he said. “We are very happy and excited that we have this capability to continue what our fathers imprinted the game with.”
