LIAM GALLAGHER was released yesterday after being questioned by police over an incident with a freelance photographer.
Police were called to the Pembroke Castle pub in Primrose Hill, near the offices of Creation Records, yesterday afternoon. Photographer Mel Bouzad alleged that Liam had attacked him and broken his camera after he took photographs of the Oasis singer. The photographer had gone to the pub because he had received a tip off that Liam was wearing “a funny hat”.
Liam was in the pub with brother Noel and various friends. According to a report in The Sun he was on a 24-hour “hell raising” binge, though some locals at the pub claimed that he was minding his own business and although he had taken a few drinks, was hardly incapable.
Gallagher was taken to Kentish Town police station. He was released on police bail without charge pending further enquiries.
