The group's Zurich show confirms that the group and their followers are coping well with the loss of Noel Gallagher...

Oasis continued their world tour without Noel Gallagher with their scheduled gig in ZURICH SAALSPORTHALLE last night.

While one eyewitness said support for the band was strong, one group of audience members waved a banner with the words: “Where is Noel while Liam is getting high?”, paraphrasing ‘Champagne Supernova’.

The set was described by one fan at the gig as “surprisingly short,” lasting less than an hour with two songs in the encore, ‘Champagne Supernova’ and ‘Rock ‘N’ Roll Star’.

According to eyewitness reports, the band’s Swiss supporters were less vocal when Liam encouraged them to fill in Noel‘s lines in ‘Acquiesce’ than at the previous night’s gig in Milan, but overall, Noel‘s absence didn’t dampen fans’ enthusiasm.

Liam dedicated ‘Shakermaker’ to “all those people who take mushrooms too early in the day,” and ‘Wonderwall’ to “all the lesbians”.

After coming on stage to ‘Fuckin’ In The Bushes’, the band played more or less the same set as the previous night, including hits ‘Go Let It Out’, ‘Who Feels Love?’ and ‘Roll With It’.
