Liam speaks to nme.com about the future of Oasis...

LIAM GALLAGHER has declared to nme.com that the next Oasis album will be recorded in one week – and says that he is “double-positive” about the future.

Speaking after the band’s performance at Carling Weekend Festival at Leeds, when he and Noel together joined the rest of the band in good spirits at their aftershow party, he revealed that he can’t wait to get into the recording studio after what he admitted has been an emotional summer.

“I’m in a brand new band, so I’m looking forward to making music… why split it up when it’s not even started yet?”
