The cat's out of the bag and they're Wembley bound

Oasis have revealed details of three stadium shows next July, following a week of speculation.

They play:

Bolton Reebok Stadium (July 15)London Wembley Stadium (22) Edinburgh Murrayfield Stadium (29)

Tickets go on sale on December 4.

In three consecutive Saturdays Oasis will play to over 160,000 fans. It is their first UK shows in two years since Wembley Arena in December 1997.

“The reason we chose Wembley is because we don’t like playing big places anymore,” joked Noel Gallagher.

The gigs will be the first time in the UK that the new line-up with guitarist Gem and bass player Andy Bell have played.

nme.com will announce details of how to get tickets shortly.

The fourth Oasis album – Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants will be released at the end of February.
