Oasishave settled out of court with former drummer Tony McCarroll.
None of the other Oasis members were present in the court. McCarroll, who has been seeking 20 per cent of the band’s earnings since he was sacked – a sum that could have been as much as ’18 million – accepted an undisclosed sum in settlement.
McCarroll‘s counsel Jonathan Rayner-James QC told the judge: “I am happy to tell you that the parties have come to terms and that that will resolve all matters between the parties.”
McCarroll, who has been working in a Manchester studio since his departure from Oasis, left the High Court in London considerably richer, telling repors outside that he was just glad that it was all over.
