LIAM GALLAGHER has walked off stage during an OASIS show in Italy.
The band are currently on a European tour, and performed at the Heineken Jammin’ Festival in Imola on a bill that included Velvet Revolver and Billy Idol.
According to fans at the gig, Liam walked off during ‘Champagne Supernova’, not to return. The reason is currently unclear.
A fan explained: “I’m an English student studying over here and so decided to go see them only for Liam to walk off stage halfway through the gig. Which meant Noel explaining to the crowd how ‘we are gonna have to play you a few songs that weren’t planned’!”
”He turned into lead singer playing ‘Little By Little’, ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’, etc!”
The band are due to start a North American tour on June 17 in Toronto, and return to the UK later this month for their own headline shows. The supports for those dates have just been announced.
The full list of supporting acts is as follows:
Glasgow Hampden Park (June 29) – Super Furry Animals, The Futureheads, The Stands, The Redwalls.
City Of Manchester Stadium (June 30) – Super Furry Animals, The Stands.
City Of Manchester Stadium (July 2) – The Coral, The Bees, 22:20’s, The Redwalls.
