And the duo have also announced a one-off Xmas date in London...

Death In Vegas are to lift the LIAM GALLAGHER-sung title track from their ‘SCORPIO RISING’ album as a single in December.

The B-sides across the two CD and 12-inch formats will include remixes of ‘Scorpio Rising’ by Polyphonic Spree and The Scientist, plus enhanced video material and live tracks from Death In Vegas‘ recent sold-out tour.

The video for the single is being filmed and directed in Japan by video director Masashi Muto, who has previously directed adverts for designers Issey Miyake and Commes De Garcons, as well as videos for Japanese pop stars.

Released on December 16, through Concrete Recordings, it is the second single culled from the Top 20 album, following up ‘Leather Girls’.

In other news, Richard Fearless and Tim Holmes are currently compiling archive video and film material for a DVD version of ‘Scorpio Rising’, which is scheduled for release next spring.

The band have a one-off Christmas show lined up at The Forum in London on December 21.To buy tickets, [url=]click here or call the NME Ticketline on 0870 1 663 663.
