Oasis are to play two huge outdoor summer shows, NME.COM can reveal.

The 40,000 per day-capacity shows at London’s Finsbury Park take place on Friday July 5 and Saturday July 6. It will be Oasis‘ first major open air shows in the UK since 2000, when they toured the ‘Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants’ album around football stadiums and at the Carling Weekend Reading and Leeds festival. It’ll be their first major outdoor UK shows since their two sell-out Wembley Stadium dates in July that year.

Support for both shows will come from Charlatans and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.

Tickets for the two Finsbury Park dates are priced £28.50 plus £2 booking fee and go on sale at 9am on Saturday March 2 through the NME Ticketline on 0870 1 663 663 and over the net via the band’s official website www.oasisinet.com , as well as here and a band ticketline number 08708 300300.
