Rumours abound that the Oasis songwriter might also play a live set...

As temperatures soar, the celebs are expected to be out in force backstage at GLASTONBURY this afternoon (June 28), with rumours persisting that NOEL GALLAGHER will guest-compere the New Stage later this afternoon.

The Oasis genius has just arrived on site at lunchtime, and speculation as to whether he will play an impromptu solo set has been rife.

Already this morning, Kate Moss has turned up to watch the 22-20’s set at the Other Stage, where the youthful quartet drew a sizeable crowd, including the supermodel mate of Primal Scream, who got into the groove at the side of the stage, looking low-key in a trilby hat.

Carlos from [a][/a] was also sat at the side of the stage nodding along.

Rumours that J K Rowling is to be flown in by helicopter to make an impromptu appearance at the Kidz Stage are as yet unconfirmed, with a Glastonbury spokesperson only commenting: “There are so many rumours about who’s supposed to be coming along, we really don’t know if she [Rowling] will be here or not.”
