Singer Simon Fowler is suffering from a viral throat infection...

OCEAN COLOUR SCENE have been forced to reschedule part of their UK tour after singer SIMON FOWLER contracted a viral throat infection.

The band were forced to cut short a hometown show at the Birmingham Academy (March 22) after Fowler’s throat condition deteriorated.

As a result, subsequent gigs on their tour at the Carlisle Sands Centre (25) and Glasgow Barrowlands (26-27) were also pulled.

A statement on the official OCS website [url=], said that “Everyone is very disappointed, but it has obviously been necessary for Simon to rest over the past few days in order for the rest of the tour to continue as planned.”

Most of the shows have now been rescheduled, and will now take place at:

Birmingham Academy (April17)

Glasgow Barrowlands (18, 20)

The Glasgow show on April 18 replaces the March 26 show, while the April 20 show replaces the March 27. The Carlisle show will be rearranged at a later date. All tickets are valid for the replacement shows. If anyone is unable to attend a full refund will be available.
