Ocean Colour Scene, GOLDIE, LEEROY THORNHILL, BEZ, KEITH ALLEN and cast members from THE BILL, CORONATION STREET, HOLLYOAKS and BROOKSIDE are all scheduled to take part in a celebrity five-a-side football competition at V2000.
The celebrities, who also include members of Shed Seven, Phil Daniels, TV presenters Gail Porter and Donna Air and ex-professional footballers Phil Neal, Ian Rush, Kenny Sansom and Gordon Strachan will take part at a daily event at the Weston Park leg of the festival. It is not anticipated that the football tournament will take place at Hylands Park.
As previously revealed on nme.com, Jurassic 5 have pulled out of V2000 following injuries sustained to members of the band in a car crash. However, Welsh band Big Leaves have now joined the bill on the MTV Peoplesound.com stage.
This year’s festival takes place over the weekend of August 19-20 at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Stafford.
