Steve Cradock comes off worse after a bit of horseplay goes wrong...

OCEAN COLOUR SCENE guitarist STEVE CRADOCK was left with a bloodied nose after being headbutted by a roadie before a show in London on Tuesday (September 4).

The incident happened before OCS played at Brixton Academy, delaying their set by 15 minutes. And such was the state of Cradock’s face that cameramen filming the show for Japanese TV were told not to shoot him in close-up.

A spokesperson for the band told NME.COM that Cradock and the roadie had been playfighting backstage and things got out of hand. “There was blood everywhere,” she added. There were no lasting injuries.

Ocean Colour Scene release their Greatest Hits collection on November 5.
