Tyler, The Creator: ‘I want to work with Justin Bieber’

Rapper reveals teen sensation left him 'starstruck' when he met him

Odd Future mainman Tyler, The Creator has revealed that he would love to collaborate with Justin Bieber.

The rapper, who is currently touring North America with the Los Angeles hip-hop collective, has said he met up with the diminutive pop star back in February and the pair hit it off immediately.

Speaking to MTV News, the rapper said of his encounter with the pop sensation: “I met Justin back in February. He’s a cool kid and when I got in there, he was talking about the ‘Yonkers’ video. It was weird, because I was sitting here starstruck, like, ‘Oh, fuck, it’s Bieber. He’s asking me questions.’ I’m like, ‘Shut the fuck up so I can talk to you.’ “

The rapper said he would definitely be interested in collaborating with Bieber and responded to a question about what kind of track they’d do together by saying: “I just want to make ’90s R&B, like break beats, hard drums with pretty chords and shit. I really want to do that. Like, I be listening to Brandy or the first three Mary J. Blige albums and Faith Evans. That shit is awesome.”

Odd Future have been given their own reality television series, which is set to begin airing in 2012. The series, which is set to be titled Loiter Squad, will be shown on cable channel Adult Swim from early next year.
