Riot police were called to an autograph signing session from Odd Future‘s Tyler, The Creator in Boston yesterday (May 12).
The rapper was due to sign copies of his new album ‘Goblin’ at the city’s Newbury Comics Store. Hundreds of fans turned up at the store yesterday morning in order to get wristbands to attend – so many, in fact, that police were called over safety fears at around 4pm (EDT).
According to Fox News Boston, while police were attempting to disperse the crowd Tyler and two members of his entourage made their way onto the venue’s roof and started shouting loud insults at the police. Watch a video of the action by scrolling down and clicking below.
A 13 year-old girl was arrested for disorderly conduct at the scene and one police officer was taken to hospital with minor injuries after the disturbance.
Odd Future are set to tour the UK in July.
