Odd Future‘s Tyler, The Creator has told NME that he doesn’t care about the royal wedding, ahead of his band hitting London for live shows.
The rapper, who sports a wedding dress on the cover of this week’s NME, said he wasn’t bothered about having to go head-to-head with Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s ceremony. His band are playing a gig on Friday (April 29), the day of the wedding.
“I couldn’t give a shit about a royal wedding,” said the frontman, who will play London‘s Village Underground on the same day William and Kate get hitched.
Asked if he knew about the couple at all, he replied: “I don’t know. I don’t think I care. Actually, I know I don’t care. Do you care about the royal wedding?” He did, however, say he knew that William was “Diana’s son”.
