But there's no clue as to whether it'll be on new album 'Paralytic Stalks'...

Of Montreal have posted their new track ‘Wintered Debts’ online – scroll down to the bottom of the page and click to listen.

The song, which is over seven minutes long, has been made available on the band’s official website OfMontreal.net. Although Of Montreal posted no additional information to accompany the track, fans who have downloaded the song and imported it into iTunes have noted that it comes up with the album title ‘Paralytic Stalks’, which is the name of the band’s forthcoming new LP. Of Montreal fansite TheBootyPatrol have also claimed that is the first taster from the new album.

‘Paralytic Stalks’ will be Of Montreal’s 11th studio album, and is set to be released in early 2012. It will be the follow up to their 2010 LP ‘False Priest’, which featured collaborations with R&B star Janelle Monae and Beyonce‘s sister Solange Knowles.

Previously, Of Montreal frontman Kevin Barnes has spoken of his desire to collaborate with Beyonce after she claimed to be a fan of the band. “I’d love to do it,” he said. “It’s just something she dropped and hasn’t really developed. I wonder about it, too, because I don’t know how good I am at writing songs for other people.”

He also admitted he had written a song for the ‘4’ singer, but thought it might be too “weird” for her to record.
