Offset has shared the slick new video for his song ‘Red Room’ – check it out below.
The Migos rapper announced last weekend that his debut solo album will be released on February 22, dropping an album trailer which included footage from the delivery room where his wife Cardi B gave birth to their daughter Kulture back in July. That clip will be included in a longer documentary which is due to accompany the release of the record.
The as-yet-untitled album is now being promoted with the release of the slickly-cut video for ‘Red Room’, which will feature on the record. The song itself initially dropped late last year, but was subsequently removed from streaming platforms.
The Aisultan Seitov-directed clip appears to reference the car crash Offset was involved in back in May 2018. He was hospitalised after crashing his green Dodge Challenger, but was not charged following the incident.
Offset wrote in a tweet about the new album: “My first solo project I want to express my life let my fans know a little more about myself and of course some turn up !!!”
Offset will become the final Migos member to release a solo project with his new album, following on from the arrival of Quavo’s ‘Quavo Huncho’ in October and Takeoff’s ‘The Last Rocket’ in November.
The rapper recently joined Travis Scott on stage during the latter’s show in LA, with Drake and Quavo also making surprise on-stage appearances on the night.
