Ned Flanders-inspired metal band Okilly Dokilly announce first-ever UK tour

The "Nedal"-playing group all dress as the 'Simpsons' character on stage and use his quotes in their lyrics

The Ned Flanders-inspired metal band Okilly Dokilly will hit the UK for their first-ever tour on these shores later this year.

The Phoenix, Arizona metalcore band, who describe their sound as “Nedal” music, first received attention shortly after they formed in 2015. Based on The Simpsons‘ God-fearing character, the four members of the group regularly dress up as Flanders – with their music frequently referencing quotes by the character.

The quartet – whose frontman, Head Ned, is now the sole remaining original member left in the band – released their debut album ‘Howdilly Doodilly’ in November 2016, and are currently working on its follow-up, ‘Howdilly Twodilly’.

Okilly Dokilly are now gearing up for their first-ever UK tour. Kicking off at the Rescue Rooms in Nottingham on October 2, the tour will conclude a week later at the Sheffield venue Corporation on October 9.
