Ol’ Dirty Bastard set to release first posthumous UK single

The rapper is teamed-up from beyond the grave with girl band…

Ol’ Dirty Bastard is set to release his first posthumous UK single.

The late Wu-Tang Clan member, who died in 2004, will feature on single ’Love Hurts’ by Newcastle all-girl band Sirens.

The song was inspired by a chance meeting on a plane with Kayne West who advised the girl group “write what you feel and take it left”, leading the band to experiment with the late rapper’s material.

The [a][/a] sample comes from previously unheard track called ‘Dirt Dog 2’, a sequel song to ’Dirt Dog’ from his 1999 Album ’Nigga Please’, which the rapper never chose to release.

’Love Hurts’ is released on November 7.
