One Direction’s Louis thrown out of Newcastle hotel for ‘trashing room’

Boy band member was escorted by security staff in the early hours of Tuesday morning

One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson was reportedly kicked out of his hotel in Newcastle this week after allegedly “trashing” his room.

The Sun report that the boy band member was escorted by security out of the city’s Malmaison Hotel at around 4am on Tuesday morning.

The report claims that Louis “ran out of the hotel carrying all of his clothes and another bottle of booze”, leaving one of the hotel’s security guards “furious”.

A spokesperson for the Malmaison Hotel confirmed to BBC Newsbeat that “a guest” was removed from their premises but did not specify the individual by name.

Tomlinson had performed a gig with One Direction at Newcastle’s Metro Radio Arena on Monday night (October 26). He later reportedly attended a student bar after the show.

One Direction recently announced that they will release new album ‘Made In The AM’ on November 13.

The boyband have so far unveiled the singles ‘Drag Me Down’, ‘Infinity’ and now ‘Perfect’.

The album will be the group’s last before their upcoming hiatus, which they will embark on following the conclusion of their forthcoming tour dates next year.
