The veteran dance duo make five tunes available to download on the Internet...

Five rare Orbital tracks have been posted as MP3 files on the band’s official website, nme.com can reveal.

The tracks, which appear on the website MP3[/a] files are taken from the band’s appearance at the Glastonbury Festival in 1995.

The tracks are: ‘Untitled’ (From tape version of ‘Green’) ‘Fahrenheit 303’ (Norwich Waterfront – April 20, 1992) ‘Belfast’ (Glastonbury Festival – June 24, 1995) ‘Sad But New’ (Glastonbury Festival – June 24, 1995) ‘Crash and Carry’ (Netherlands Paradiso – December 10, 1994)

Orbital are currently finalising details of a world tour for between September and November. The band have already confirmed dates at the Electron Festival in Greece on September 8-9, and are looking to add dates in South Africa (September 1-2), Dublin (October 28) and Japan (November 24-26).

Orbital are also working on their as-yet-untitled sixth studio album with Mickey Mann, who co-produced their second album and 1999’s ‘The Middle Of Nowhere’. The album is not expected before the start of 2001.
