Despite flying in especially from Sweden, the rapper didn't make the birth in Atlanta...
OUTKAST star BIG BOI just missed the birth of his son, despite a last-minute dash from SWEDEN back to the STATES to be by his wife’s side at the weekend.
The group had to cancel their Eminem support dates in Brussels, Paris, Manchester, London and their highly anticipated headline show at the London Astoria on February 11, after Big Boi received a call saying that his wife had gone into labour with their third child on Saturday (February 3).
However, according to [url=]www.mtv.com, he arrived home in Atlanta, just after the safe arrival of his 6lb 5oz boy, who he had previously revealed will be called Cross. The couple have a six-year-old daughter, Jordan, and a one-year-old son, Bamboo.
As reported on NME.COM last week, the duo are expected to reschedule UK dates soon and a spokesperson advised fans to hold on to their Astoria tickets.
OutKast kick off a tour of North America with Ludacris and Slimm Calhoun on March 2 in Virginia.
mtv.com also reports that Big Boi and Dre have remixed Backstreet Boys track ‘The Call’ and are also working on a remix of Lenny Kravitz’s single, ‘Again’.
OutKast are currently at Number Two in the US Billboard Hot 100 chart with their single ‘Ms Jackson’.
