The duo return to the US so that Big Boi can be at his girlfriend's side when their baby, expected imminently, is born...

OUTKAST have cancelled the last five of their European support shows with EMINEM, including three in the UK, and their sell-out headline performance at London’s Astoria on February 11, NME.COM can exclusively reveal.

The duo are returning to the US on Monday (February 5) so that Big Boi can be at his girlfriend’s side when their baby, expected imminently, is born.

A spokesperson said: “We are incredibly pleased for Big Boi and wish him and his girlfriend all the best with the birth of their child. We are sad that OutKast won’t be able to make the end of the European Eminem support and their London Astoria show because of this, as we know there are a lot of people keen to see the band. We are currently working to get OutKast back to the UK as soon as possible.”

Fans holding tickets for the Astoria show are advised to hold on to their tickets, as a show will be rescheduled for later in the year.

The dates in full that Outkast have cancelled are as follows:

(with Eminem)

Brussels, Belgium (February 5)

Paris, France (6)

Manchester Evening News Arena (8)

London Docklands Arena (9, 10)

(solo show)
