OXIDE & NEUTRINO look set to kick up a storm of controversy with forthcoming single ‘U CAN’T STOP DIS SHIT’, a track that brags about guns, violence and robbery and appears to finally reveals the truth about NEUTRINO’s shooting incident, NME.COM can reveal.
The track, released on November 26, is brand new and not featured on the pair’s debut album ‘Execute’, which spawned the Number One hit ‘Bound 4 Da Reload’.
A double A-side with a reworking of album track ‘Only Wanna Know U Cos Ure Famous’, ‘U Can’t Stop Dis Shit’ admits that in fact Neutrino shot himself in the leg during the incident that happened outside a west London nightclub in the early hours of May 2.
At the time, Neutrino, real name Mark Oseitutu, claimed he was involved in a scuffle outside the club when a man tried to rob him. He said he only realised he had been shot as he was driving away after the incident.
He later admitted himself to a local hospital, where staff notified police because of the nature of his injury. He was then arrested and taken to Charing Cross Police Station, where he was treated by a police doctor and questioned, before being released without charge.
The case against him of suspected illegal possession of a firearm was dismissed due to lack of evidence last week (September 17).
But in the new track, Neutrino seems to admit that he shot himself.
He raps: ‘I shoot myself in the leg because I’m fucking crazy like that’
