Ozzy Osbourne has amassed $50 million in merchandising sales over the last decade, new figures just released reveal.
The massive sum is a record for a metal performer and has seen the Prince Of Darkness pull in $35 million from selling merchandise at concerts like his Ozzfest roadshow and $15 million at retail, reports Reuters. Among the best-selling
products are black Ozzy Osbourne
T-shirts, slippers and action figures.
Signatures Network, the firm who
look after merchandising rights for Ozzy Osbourne , said new material was on the way, including branded fashion jeans, jackets,
boots and accessories as well an Ozzy Osbourne slot machine.
“I think the ‘Ozzy for President’ and the ‘Passion Of Ozzy’ shirts we just released will be some of the best selling and most popular among his fans,” said his wife and manager Sharon Osbourne. “Of course, I love Ozzy Osbourne so much I sleep with one of his shirts on every night.”
