Sharon Osbourne needs three months of chemotherapy...

SHARON OSBOURNE’s plans to allow her chemotherapy treatment to be filmed by MTV for the second series of ‘THE OSBOURNES’.

As previously reported, the first two dates of the Ozzfest US tour were postponed because Sharon, wife of Ozzy, was diagnosed with a treatable form of cancer.

The Reuters news service reports that her cancer has spread beyond her colon, and she will undergo three months of chemotherapy later this month.

Osbourne, who helps put together the Ozzfest line-up, and also stars with the rest of her family in MTV’s hugely successful show ‘The Osbournes’, told US magazine People that she is concentrating on attempting to make a full recovery.

She said: “It was not the best news. You think nothing will ever happen to you. You’re invincible. Then after you get over the shock and panic you realise how lucky you are to be alive. That’s where I am right now. I simply have to take care of this thing.”

MTV are due to start filming the second series of ‘The Osbournes’ while Sharon’s treatment continues. “People will see me having chemo. It’ll be interesting,” she explained. “We need to get a different vibe going. I think I’ll bring some music, introduce myself, maybe we can sing some songs and cheer the place up.”
