OZZY OSBOURNE has been given the go-ahead to resume performing on the MERRY MAYHEM TOUR.
The former Black Sabbath frontman suffered a stress fracture in his leg after falling over when getting out of the shower. The accident happened before a gig in Tucson, Arizona on October 31, which was part of Osbourne’s Merry Mayhem tour of the US with Rob Zombie.
Osbourne continued to tour for a week, unaware of the extent of his injury. He finally saw a doctor on November 8 and was advised to rest and stop touring.
However, in a statement on his official website, www.ozzyosbourne.com, the vocalist said the tour will resume on November 29 in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
A statement reads: “After consulting with his physicians in Los Angeles, Ozzy Osbourne has been given the green light to resume his Merry Mayhem tour on November 29 in Grand Forks, N.D. Doctors are confident that the stress fracture in Ozzy‘s leg will be healed enough for him to begin performing again, however, he may have to wear a leg brace. Ozzy is currently recuperating at home.”
